Halo 3 omg!!! and more political ramblings thrown in for good measure.

by harewood1 @ 18/04/2007 - 23:55:57

HALO 3 IS GOING TO BE AWWWESOMMEEEE I already have it on pre-order for double reward points at Game.co.uk and I REEEALLLLLLYYYY can't wait to play it. I'm cringing at the thought that it will be at least another SIX MONTHS before I get my grubby hands on it. that thought depresses me, where's my friend Jack (Daniels) when I need him?

While on the loo (also known as the thinking throne) I came up with an insane idea to save the planet.

CREATE LUXURIOUS HABITATS IN DESERT REGIONS!!
Under all that sand out there in places like the sahara etc.. is an incredibly fertile topsoil and all that is needed really is human intervention and craploads of water. How they would get this water I shall explain later.

If the governments of northern africa could find the funds, they could through technology create huge areas of farmland, which they could use to support the populace of the entire continent, thus crushing the continent's reliance on rich nations for food aid and then enabling them to concentrate on things like education, housing, health service, things that we all here in the UK take for granted but so many people around the world are desperate to have.

Now the issue of where this water would come from. It would basically be obtainable through de-salinisation plants.
As many of you would know, about 70% of the world's surface is covered by water, that's 1,400,000,000,000,000 litres of water....... that's a flipping lot lol, don't know if that includs the ice caps in the north and south, sooo... a crapload of de-salinisation plants would reduce the level the planet's oceans? very interesting thought that

Back on track.... so, after a while, the transpiration from the crops in the farms would create extra rainfall meaning that the de-salinisation plants could eventually be de-commissioned and transformed into renewable energy power plants or something productive.

completely insane off the wall suggestion, maybe i should get some figures down on this one. might write to the bbc to see if they would do a documentary.

My brother is an ARSE! and more political ramblings

by harewood1 @ 18/04/2007 - 22:44:07

HONESTLY I hate my little brother so much I could explode.
Anybody who reads this and comments anything about sibling rivalry can go away, I don't want to hear that anymore, i'v heard it enough, this goes way beyond sibling rivalries. WAY BEYOND!!!

He steals everything!! my clothes my toiletries my money my phone credit my freaking socks MY SOCKS FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST!!! He borrowed an £80 pair of tracksuit bottoms, my favourites by the way... AND HE COMPLETELY RUINED THEM AND THEN DIDNT EVEN APOLOGISE!!! I've had enough of this arrogant drug addict shithead that i'm unfortunate enough to have as a brother. I'm moving out as soon as possible because living here with that THING is seriously stressing me out and I need out of here!!

The issue of zimbabwe.. WHY OH WHY do we stand by, while the people of zimbabwe suffer from the oppression of Mugabe's deluded regime. Accountants, Teachers, hardly able to afford even a loaf of bread a day to feed their families while Mugabe enjoys completely and utterly insane luxury. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!! Personal message to Mr Blair, get your manhood out of the colon of a certain American Dictator President and go re-conquer Zimbabwe!!!! these people are suffering and it is our duty as the former colonial power who let this guy take power, to invade and bring salvation to them!
Tell the UN they're building weapons of mass destruction if you have to!!! lol

Crazy UFO theories, beautiful bossy girls and love poetry

by harewood1 @ 18/04/2007 - 01:35:17

If you want to you should check this out: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=901923875297833376&q=Truth
Warning, this video is 2 hours long and incredibly boring, I skimmed a lot of it.
This movie is about the disclosure project, which has been running since 1993 (and im just hearing about it in 2007, so apparently they suck at getting press coverage lol).

The disclosure project is a not-for-profit organisation which is dedicated to the topic of UFOs, Extra-terrestrial life and the truth about their existence and involvement with the human race.
They claim that there are projects operating within governments around the world (in some cases even the heads of state don't know about these) which have reverse-engineered alien technology and are sitting on it for the sake of what it would do to the economy and possibly other reasons.

We're talking about technology that would literally save the flipping planet!!! from zero point energy production which would solve the current energy crisis and completely destroy the energy industry. (which is why they sit on it) anti-gravity technology which would turn the automobile industry on it's head (quite literally in some cases I guess lol)

THIS STUFF MAKES ME IRATE!!!! If this is true I really wouldn't be surprised that people would just SELFISHLY sit on such technologies that would save the entire fricken planet and yet they let us bang on about riding bikes to work, building renewable energy crap, carbon footprints, bloody recycling bullshit (sorry swearing now.. think i should stop)

Interesting video anyways.

Currently talking to this drop dead gorgeous beautiful girl who likes to talk about stuff liek the queen and um well I don't really know why but im just chatting away like a 14 year old school girl gossiping to her girlfriend lol. She's a great laugh! seriously funny and incredibly random, amazingly wonderful and she could make any emo kid sitting in his room self harming feel better about themselves!
Here's to you sapph! cheers *raises glass*

And to end this rather strange entry....a poem of my own creation, written to someone special a long time ago, just thought I would share some of my creativity :)

Before i met such a beautiful person,
I knew not what it was like to love.
To know you are there, who,
looking at the skies above,
Is thinking of me in my entirety,
knowing my heart will always be with you.

I once wandered through this world,
with nothing to guide but my mind.
Now you have found me,
my thoughts can transcend this reality.
With the help of my heart I can travel to a place,
where all my troubles are left behind,
where my body no longer requires sleep,
where i feel nothing but what i feel for you.

I stay awake every night,
waiting patiently for you to appear.
I think of what you may be doing, feeling, wondering.
I slip into a deep trance and visit the world I discovered when you found me.
I see a shining light eminating from the western horizon,
A stunning purity which shines through the dark clouds that hover maliciously above.
Seeing this, i know that no man nor god can keep me from what I want, and all I want is you.

I love you.
With everything any man can possibly offer from so far away.
I love you more than anyone could ever love another.
You are the most beautiful thing to have ever graced this earth.
I will never forget you.

Home from work ranting hour!

by harewood1 @ 17/04/2007 - 18:59:32

WOAH! what a day at work, loads of heavy lifting, drilling, whistling at females walking past ^^ well that wasnt me doing that but it was just a funny thing happening lol.
Im not much of a womaniser but I do enjoy the company of women very much, I get along so much better with girls rather than guys and that's just the way it has always been with me, I couldnt begin to tell you why, I really dont know. OMG MAYBE I'M GAY!? lol, well nah. I thought I was for a while and yeh, it just wasn't for me, I like girls in all ways ^^

Watching the news, like I often do, some huge report about that shooting incident in virginia. I'm sitting here and i'm absolutely apalled by the attitudes of some americans when it comes to the issue of guns! I just heard some guy say (this is really unbelievable) "If all students excercised their right to bear arms then this wouldn't have happened"
UNBELIEVABLE, even though there is some truth in what this guy is saying, if everyone had a gun there would DEFINITELY be more shootings.

It is incredibly difficult for everyone to maintain control over themselves at all times. In moments of rage we can do some pretty awful things, this guy who did the shootings in virginia................... went beserk after finding his girlfriend in bed with another guy, okay so he was completely crackers to begin with and came to the campus armed to the teeth, he was driven by an aspect of his nature which is within all of us, rage.
So quite simply, we cannot give all people guns because at the end of the day not everyone could use them responsibly.

America's gun laws are archaic. From the time of the wild west where people needed guns to protect themselves from natives and bandits.
The modern world has no place for the "regular joe" to be armed with deadly force, it is unneccessary, and it is dangerous. People who are angry should fight with fists until they arent angry anymore, and criminals must not be allowed to get hold of weaponry so easily.
Stupid bloody Americans, they could have a really great country if they didn't allow such stupid crap to go unchecked.

anyways... looking forward to an enjoyable night in by myself again, sigh, I really do need to get out more, kinda hard when you don't have any real friends left anymore.

more details have emerged + musings on death

by harewood1 @ 17/04/2007 - 00:39:40

Final death count of today's happenings in a town in virginia.... 33.
That's 33 PEOPLE real people, real live thinking breathing farting (please excuse my lame sense of humour) people.

I wonder what it must be like to die, is there something afterwards? or is there simply nothing? Kinda like sleeping but never dreaming, forever. I guess the point is we just simply do not know, and there is a simple rule in life, we fear what we do not know. We fear the dark; the dark represents what we cannot see, what we do not know, and we fear it more than anything there is. Death is TRUE darkness.

Hmm anybody feeling depressed right now? *raises hand* hmmmmm *eats iced cream (you know that's what it's really supposed to be called lol) now I feel much better^^ oh... you still feel depressed? hummmh sorry can't help you there:) My thoughts are often dark, I have a pretty bleak outlook sometimes, at least i'm big enough to admit that right? But mixed in with this melancholy I have a great capacity for hope and a great sense of humour. (if you would allow me to pleasure my ego for just a second)

Earl's perfect world, a world with no hunger, no poverty, no war, no global warming. A world where people don't need to work, but they do so as a vocation, there are no menial jobs, all done by robots^^ people work because it makes them happy, or because it makes other people happy. People do things for other people, selfishness, greed, and working for the sole reason of gratifying your own wallet do not exist, because money and capitalism are dead.

A world where women don't care if you are sensitive or would make a great father or not, they just shag you without making you wait for months and months trying to figure out of you are "the one" because... let's be honest, we dont give a crap if they're the one or not, we'll shag them all until we find the one, why wait?........ woah woah I think I said too much already ^^ *switches off male brain*

Gotta love life on a day like this.....right?

by harewood1 @ 16/04/2007 - 20:44:32

The sun is SHINING, my apparent SAD (seasonal affective disorder) has today been completely crushed by the absolutely marvellous sunshine of the past few weeks.
But amidst all this joy in my life there is a very solemn breeze blowing through blacksburg today.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/6560685.stm

This appears to be breaking news, so not all the facts are clear at this point, but there has been TWO, apparently seperate, shooting incidents in which about 22 people have lost their lives, this is an incredibly tragic event, so today everyone should spare a thought for the families of all those who have died today, not just in this incident, but all over the globe people have died and in britain we just dont think about that kind of thing often enough, selfishly not wanting to become depressed by it.

What drives people to kill each other? This question has boggled me for so long, and yet I have known the answer all along.
The urge to kill is within us all, some may deny it strenuously saying that they could never kill another person. But the reality is.... they can, given the right circumstances, they probably will.
This may seem like a rather ominous and dark outlook on the human condition, but it is merely a truth which I have cautiously observed.

With so much death in our world today I often struggle to pull any joy from my day, I suffer from the incredible guilt of being one of the lucky ones, who dont have to deal with death in their day to day lives, and probably will only deal with it through natural passing away of loved ones.

Another day to remember, another day which we pledge to enjoy our lives for the sake of those who have lost their's.

Foreword

by harewood1 @ 31/03/2007 - 02:11:55

Greetings to all who may be so bored as to be reading past this point---->| .
I have been considering writing a blog for quite some time weighing up the pluses and minuses of such an endeavor, main pluses being the fact that I have some serious issues that I want to get off my chest and discuss with people, primarily politics and the like, main negatives being the amount of time I will have to update this thing, and there is that small factor of apathy which i tend to suffer from.

So here I am at the beginning of a beautiful journey, one which I shall take in full unashamed view of the world, my gift to this world shall be a small part of me, my opinions, my dream of a utopian world.
Who knows, maybe a politician might read this and be the main force behind pushing for a global utopian order in which common sense, peace and justice rule over blind patriotism, nationalism, and beligerent ramblings of small minded persons whom wield the power to make their ill-conceived views become reality.

I hope you look forward to reading this page as much as I look forward to writing it.

Yours Kindly,
Earl

P.S. for those who want to know why I'm not using my real name or any other personal information here is from fear of identity fraud. The meanies already got access to my bank details once... never again.
